Just me: translate anything, anywhere

You do not need to run a server. Add Discord Translator to your own account and you can translate any message, in any server or DM, and only you see the answer.

Add it to your account

Discord asks whether to add it to your apps. Say yes. It now follows you everywhere.

Pick your language/settings languagelang: English

Right-click translations come out in this language. If you never set one, the bot uses the language your Discord app is in.

One messageApps › Translate Message

Right-click (on a phone: long-press) any message. Only you see the translation. It works on voice messages and recordings too.

Type something/translatetext: See you tomorrowto: Japanese

Only you see it. Press Post in channel if you want everyone to.

Save a phrase to learn

Press Learn this under any translation and the phrase goes into your practice deck. See Learn a language a few minutes a day.

That message and the next 15, in one private card.

Flag reactions, privately/settings reactionsmode: DM Only (private)

React with a country flag and the translation comes to you by DM instead of the channel.

A different language in one server/settings server-languagelang: Spanish

Only for that server. Everywhere else keeps your main language.

Check it works

If something is off

I do not see Translate Message under Apps.
On a phone, long-press the message instead of right-clicking. If it is still missing, add the bot to your apps again with the button above.
It says I cannot use it in this server.
Some servers turn off apps from outside the server (the Use External Apps permission). Use it in your DMs, or ask the server to add the bot.
Translate from here is missing.
It works only in servers that added the bot itself, because it needs to read the channel.
