Callouts for raids and game nights
In a busy call, most words do not need translating, but the orders do. Add the callouts your callers use once. When someone says one, types its key, or presses it on the board, every listener hears it in their language.
Rolling out. This is live in our support server first, where you can try it today, and reaches every server soon. The commands below appear in your server when it does.
You need
- Manage Server to add callouts.
- Listeners on the The Translator Activity: everyone hears the call in their own language page.
Set them up
Add a callout/callout addphrase: Rally at the gatekeys: rg
Up to 25. keys: are short typed triggers.
Fix a translation/callout fixphrase: Rally at the gatelanguage: Spanishtext: Todos a la puerta
Your wording always wins over the machine.
A button board/callout board
One button per callout: one press sends it.
Use them in the call
Say it
When a caller says the phrase, it fires on its own.
Type it
Type its key (rg, or !rg) or the phrase in the call's chat.
Press it
On the board.
Check it works
- /callout list shows every callout and its keys.
If something is off
A spoken callout did not fire.
It fires when the sentence has the phrase's words and little else. Use the key or the board in a noisy call.
